Applying for funding – Northern Finland

The allocation of funding is guided by the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 programme, which includes measures of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Just Transition Fund (JTF).

The operating region of the Economic Development Centre of Northern Finland covers North Ostrobothnia, Kainuu and Lapland. In Central Ostrobothnia, funding is granted by the Economic Development Centre of Central Finland. The Economic Development Centres grant ERDF, ESF and JTF (Just Transition Fund) fundings in their regions.

Regional councils grant ERDF funding and JTF (Just Transition Fund) funding in their regions.
