Implementation of the EU regional and structural policy programme in Eastern Finland

This site contains topical information related to the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 regional and struc-tural policy programme, such as funding applications and events in Eastern Finland during the 2021–2027 EU programming period.

Eastern Finland comprises three regions: South Savo, North Savo and North Karelia.
The allocation of funding is guided by the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 programme, which includes measures of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Just Transition Fund (JTF).

In Eastern Finland, regional and structural policy funding is handled by four funding authorities:
•    Regional Council of South Savo
•    Regional Council of North Savo
•    Regional Council of North Karelia
•    South Savo Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment

The South Savo Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment grants support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Just Transition Fund (JTF).

Application periods are available only in Finnish and Swedish.
