Information on applying

The funding authorities provide information on application periods for funding and their themes in the EURA 2021 system. Information on application will also be provided on the funding authorities' websites and in the Application periods section of the National themes web page. The call for applications describes the priority areas and specific objectives for which projects are being sought. The call for applications will also indicate which funding authority the application should be addressed to. Applications can focus on at either regional projects or national themes.

Apply for funding from national thematic programmes when the activities and benefits of the project are national.

Each application period has a deadline by which applications must be submitted. The applicant must ensure that the application is addressed to the correct funding authority. ELY Centres update the plan for application periods three times a year and whenever necessary.

The financier-specific calls for applications for the Innovation and Skills in Finland 2021−2027 EU Regional and Structural Policy Programme will be published in the EURA 2021 system:
